ACUPUNCTURE AND ORIENTAL MEDICINE
Oriental medicine is a comprehensive system of health care with a continuous clinical history of over 3,000 years. Oriental medicine includes acupuncture, Chinese herbology and bodywork, dietary therapy and exercise based on traditional Oriental medicine principles. These therapies work with the natural vital energy inherent within all living things to promote the body's ability to heal itself.
HERBS AND HOMEOPATHICS
Herbs have been used for centuries to strengthen the body and its metabolic processes. Herbs and homeopathics increase the efficacy of an acupuncture and oriental medicine treatment. Herbal and homeopathic medicine is prescribed as needed by your qualified certified practitioner.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE AND BODYWORK
Massage is a manual therapeutic procedure that uses touch to treat the muscular structures of the body. There are many different types of massage styles and techniques. Some massage styles utilize deep kneading motions and others use light pressure or long strokes. Massage is used to relieve stress, increase blood flow, soothe aches and pain, relax tense muscles, and increase the general well being of the body.
REIKI AND ENERGY MEDICINE
A gentle and nurturing experience that delivers deep relaxation and a sense of healing through the traditional method of hands resting, without pressure, on or above the body's energy centers to balance the flow of energy. Reiki allows your inner wisdom to direct the energy where it is most needed. Leave this session appreciating your inherent perfection. Client remains fully clothed throughout massage.
AROMATHERAPY AND FLOWER ESSENCES
Aromatherapy is used in the relief of pain and various other ailments. It alleviates tension and fatigue and invigorates the entire body and mind. Essential oils can affect mood, reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. When inhaled they work on the brain and nervous system through stimulation of the olfactory nerves. Flower essences are homeopathic drops that were developed by physician Dr. Edward Bach to assuage the ill effects of our own negative feelings and patterns.
